Tomorrow’s new song.

Can my tears become
words for you to see?
Words echoed through
the wooded plains of
“I’m sorry” and
“please forgive me?”

But, as the light
cascades upon from
where you and I belong,
I can arise in hope
to tomorrow’s new song.
