Words

Words

For all of those stories told,
remain bold.
The lies are flawed
But the truth is gold.

Empty words fill a mind,
with uncertainty,
a heart with doubt,
and a soul with solitude.

We rise above the leaven of defeat.
We emerge reborn.
We emerge transformed.

Patience teaches me
to stand still and hear His voice.
I am comforted.

Indeed, truth can
expose lies,
for you to see.

Yet, truth can
inspire you to,
be all you could
possibly be.

Hope dwells in our hearts.
Hope leans upon truth and love.
Hope sees tomorrow.

But unless I forget,
God’s beauty is the kindest,
that I’ve ever met.
