God is.

God is.

It wasn’t always this way.
Each day used to be an adventure.
But somewhere along the way,
I was bruised and tormented,
by those who said I’ll never be…

I’ll never be good enough
and I’ll never be able to…

I learned long ago,
that an opinion’s value
only increases
in the hearts of those willing,
to make room for it.

God’s promises are always sure.
His timing is always perfect.
He sees the finished article,
when we only see the work
in progress.

Each day is not guaranteed.
But, if we receive it,
live it and live it well.
Each of us has
a unique purpose.

People will come and go.
But, God is.
We are good enough
and we are able to because,
God is.

As each year falls,
as a dying crimson leaf
having its last dance,
with the wind, remember…

To dust off,
that old crate in the attic.
The one where you locked
away your dreams,
as life arrived with other plans.

It’s time to reopen it
and to fulfil each one
as the day gives you
its full attention.
